Carol Sarich – President

Carol Sarich is a principal in Greater Saskatoon Catholic School Division. She has been the SSBL president since 2014, and has also served as the Western Canadian CAP Vice-President for the past 3 years. She is involved with the STF and PGN at committee levels, and strongly believes in the need to advocate for the roles and concerns of administrators in the province.

 

 

Patrick Mooney – Vice President

Patrick Mooney is a Principal in Regina Public Schools, currently serving at Arcola Community School. He has served as an in-school administrator for fourteen years in rural Saskatchewan and in Saskatoon and Regina. He has also served in division  administration for four years. He currently lives in Southey Saskatchewan, where his wife, Shelly Mooney teaches.

 

 

Jackie Peat – Secretary

Jackie Peat has been an educator with Regina Catholic Schools for 25 years and is currently the principal of St. Theresa School in Regina. She has been a member of the SSBL executive since 2011. Jackie and her husband Blake live on an acreage near Pilot Butte with their three children.

 

 

Erin Jones – Treasurer

Erin Jones is the Vice Principal at Bishop Roborecki School in Saskatoon. Although she has been an educator for 18 years, this is her first year in an administrative role. She is involved in her local teacher’s association as an executive member of the STA.

 

 

Jennifer Hingley – Member at Large

Jennifer Hingley is the currently the Principal of Brownell Elementary School with Saskatoon Public Schools. Past experiences include Coordinator and Consultant with the First Nation and Metis Education Unit for Saskatoon Public. Jennifer is a proud graduate of SUNTEP Saskatoon and has served as an educator for over two decades. Jennifer is deeply committed to enhancing and improving education systems so that they become more responsive to the needs of First Nations and Metis students and appreciative of the contributions of First Nations and Metis people. She believes that courageous teachers and leaders are the key to strong and equitable schools.

 

 

Dean Lucyk – Member at Large

Dean Lucyk is currently a Vice Principal at Miller Comprehensive Catholic High School.  He has 16 years as a teacher and 16 years as an administrator. He has been STF councilor for 18 years and on the SSBL executive for 13 years.

 

 

Mr. Garth Anderson – Member at Large

Garth is currently in his 37th year of teaching 28 of those years as an in-school administrator. Seven years in Frontier School and 27 in Foam Lake Composite. Upon superannuation Garth accepted a 50 % Principalship of the Horizon online learning school.

 

 

Tricia Shynkaruk – Member At Large

Tricia Shynkaruk has been an educator with Regina Catholic Schools for 15 years and is currently the Vice Principal of St. Josaphat school in Regina. She has been a member of the SSBL executive since 2017.
